Dear Ms Davies,
I write to thank you for arranging for Mr Kennedy to represent my son at the Hearing today.
I’m afraid I was not aware of there being a hearing until yesterday when my wife alerted me to it. This was partly owing to my having been somewhat ill for two or three weeks and unable to commit myself to support my son with all my heart. It is a dreadful feeling when one has not the strength to stand fearlessly against all the authorities in defence of one’s darling, innocent son. I feel I have let him down, yes even betrayed him.
I admired the way Mr Kennedy conducted my son’s case today. He was clear, to the point and pleasant, and I have nothing but praise for him. Thank you for all you have done for my son. Please convey my thanks to Jennifer Emflorgo.
With best wishes to you both. Yours sincerely.
